Elisa Thomas is the newly crowned 2011 Carnival Queen US Virgin Islands

Elisa Thomas, a Charlotte Amalie High School senior who wants to put her poise, intellect and ambition toward a television career, was named 2011 Carnival Queen.




Another Charlotte Amalie High School senior, aspiring fashion designer J'Lisa Chesterfield, was named first runner-up, while her classmate, Shiryra Crabb, was named second runner-up.
