1) AISHWARYA RAI, INDIA (1994)
Many thought, and they cannot be blamed for it, that this contest was a competition for 2nd place, that Ash had it “hands down”. And right such people were.
Almost by unanimity, the Mangalore native who was crowned Miss World 1994, was elected, for the second time, the MOST BEAUTIFUL MISS WORLD EVER (the same contest was promoted by Global Beauties 10 years ago).
During her career, Rai has acted in over 40 movies in Hindi, English, Tamil and Bengali, which include a number of international productions.
She is often cited by the media as ‘the most beautiful woman in the world’.
Will one day any Miss World titleholder be able to defeat this Indian goddess? It’s hard to say (or to imagine)… Meanwhile, long live the queen (of beauty)!
2) KSENIA SUKHINOVA, RUSSIA (2008)
A recent addition to the gallery of Miss World titleholders, Russia’s Ksenia Sukhinova now ranks as the 2nd most beautiful of all times, a true honor, taken that the winner, Aishwari Rai, can be considered virtually unbeatable. She was crowned in South Africa, two years ago, and has been enjoying much success in her modeling career ever since.
3) CINDY BREAKSPEARE, JAMAICA (1976)
Another epitome of beauty revealed by Miss World, Jamaica’s Cindy Breakspeare, Miss World 1976, conquered and inspired raggea genius Bob Marley, with whom she had a child: Grammy-winner Damian Marley. Stunning Cindy is a jazz musician herself, and a beauty not to be forgotten. She takes bronze, as the 3rd most beautiful Miss World ever.
4) HÓLMFRÍDUR KARLSDÓTTIR, ICELAND, 1985
Ricardo Guiraldes, one of our judges, who had the chance to photograph Miss World delegates in the 1980′s, when they competed in London, said about Hólmfríður: “When we (photographers) saw Miss Iceland that year, there was no doubt – there was Miss World 1985! The woman was perfect”. And it came true. It was the first of 3 victories (so far) for the 300-thousand people nation located in the middle North Atlantic Ocean.
5) JACQUELINE AGUILERA, VENEZUELA, 1995
Venezuela gave the world 5 stunning winners, and among them is Jacqueline Aguilera, one of the most celebrated beauty queens of all times, and the 5th Most Beautiful Miss World Ever. Hailing from Valencia, Jacqueline was crowned Miss World 1995 in Sun City, South Africa. She enjoyed much success and a model and fashion designer.
